Feritech provide a number of geotechnical consumable items including cutting shoes, core catchers and barrels. Typically these are used in offshore marine vibracoring, piston or gravity coring operations. They can be made to fit any diameter barrel or liner and can even be constructed from a special material (high grade stainless, plastic or titanium for example) so as not to interfere with any chemical testing that the samples are going to undertake.
